TW3003 News

Stardate 010905 : The website is coming along slowly, but surely. This is my first entry on what will be TW3003's News page, and visitors are urged to check here for occasional updates and changes to both the web site and the game server. At this time, I have begun work on the FAQ/New Player Guide, and that is appearing to be a monumental task. I have noticed some other TW sites mimic my style, and that is ok, as long as it does not become too blatant. I will consider their imitation as flattery, and wish them well. Please respect that a lot of time and effort has been put into the site design and content. All pages and page content are copyrighted.

Stardate 011205 : I banged Timborulz Moon Patrol edits today, and will open the game at 10pm central time. I should have the "The Universe" section of the TW FAQ completed before tomorrow morning. I believe that each part will make the following part easier to explain, so the task should become less tedious as it is completed.

I found out today I got picked to play in "Genocide" a game being hosted by Vader. Vader hosts tradewars games at BlackSun TWGS . He is a really cool dude, and BlackSun is a well run server. I am really impressed by the things that Vader is doing within the TW Community. Hats off. The game looks like it is going to be fun. Silence is going to be CEO, Just for fun I banged the edits and messaged that anybody on the corp could come play here at TW3003.

Stardate 032105 : I have been abosrbed by the server the last couple of months, not playing, but setting up background software. Additionally, I scored with a 1.7gig P4 for only fifty bucks and that encouraged me to move the webserver back off the TWGS. This wasn't an easy task, but I managed to do it without disrupting the twgs and minimal downtime on the webserver. I also managed to get a mail server installed. I did clone Tradewars v1.03d on the twgs, (game D) and opened that game on 3/14/05. These are good edits, and i don't see this game as being over quick. If you haven't tried to play them yet, give it a shot, no sst, and only one planet type though.
